- WHAT TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR:
TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS is an herbal extract that is available without a doctor’s prescription, to assist in the treatment of baby colic (minor digestion problems in babies).
- WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GIVE TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS TO YOUR BABY
DO NOT GIVE TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS TO YOUR BABY:
- If your baby is hypersensitive (allergic) to Zingiber officinale (Ginger), Chamomilla recutita (Chamomile) and Mentha piperita (Peppermint) or any of the other ingredients of TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS (listed in Section 6) e.g., potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, disodium EDTA, and vegetable glycerine.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Special care should be taken with TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS:
- If your baby is premature
- If your baby has any serious illness
Other medicines and TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS
Always tell your health care provider if your baby is taking any other medicine. (This includes all complementary or traditional medicines).
TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS also contains potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, disodium EDTA, vegetable glycerine and water.
- HOW TO GIVE TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS TO YOUR BABY
Do not share medicines prescribed for your baby with others. Always give TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS to your baby exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse has told you. Check with your doctor, pharmacist or nurse if you are not sure. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
Small children and infants:
Give 8 - 12 drops with feeds, or in water or any liquid, when required every 4 hours. Do not give more than 80 drops per day.
If your baby takes more TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS than the baby should:
In the event of overdosage, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If neither is available, contact the nearest hospital or poison centre 086 155 5777.
If you forget to give your baby TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS:
Always give your baby TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS as directed. If you miss a dose, give it to your baby as soon as you remember. If you do not remember the missed dose till the next dose is due, skip the missed dose and go back to the regular dosing schedule. Do not give a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses.

Not all side-effects reported for TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS are included in this leaflet. Should your baby’s general health worsen or if your baby experiences any untoward effects while taking this medicine, please consult your doctor, pharmacist, or other health care professional for advice.
Hypersensitivity (Allergic) reactions include rashes, vomiting and diarrhoea.

- STORING AND DISPOSING OF TC HEALTH BABY COLIC DROPS
Store in a cool, dry place, at or below 30 °C. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Store in the original package. Protect from light, moisture and direct exposure to excessive heat or sunlight. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the bottle. Return all unused medicine to your pharmacist. Do not dispose of unused medicine in drains or sewerage systems, (e.g., toilets). KEEP THIS MEDICINE OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Each 1 ml contains: 1,77 mg Zingiber officinale (Ginger), 3,10 mg Chamomilla recutita (Chamomile) and 2,22 mg Mentha piperita (Peppermint).
